How can therapy help me?
There are several benefits that therapy can provide. Therapists are able to provide support, coping skills and problem solving skills. Therapy can help with many stressors including; depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, communication, boundary settings and self-esteem. Therapists can help navigate those unwanted feelings and create healthy behaviors. In Well One Counseling, I provide a safe, non-judgemental environment to help you start focusing on yourself and understanding your why. Together, we will focus on your strengths to create the person you want to be.
How does therapy work and can it help me?
While most people think therapy is laying on the couch while talking to your therapist, it is so much more. Often times, you will see that talking is not enough. Talking does help you gain self awareness but action needs to take place. Well One Counseling focuses on being solution focused to help achieve your end goals. Goals are created and if you work at it, they can be accomplished.
